Katie Sattre graduated from The University of Tulsa College of Law in 2007 with a certificate in Natural Resources, Energy, and Environmental Law. During law school, she served as the William Mogel Intern with the US Senate Committee on the Environment and Public Works and was the Articles Editor of the Energy Law Journal. She has co-authored articles on chemical safety regulation and environmental remediation. Ms. Sattre entered private practice after law school, focusing on environmental and safety compliance. Since 2009, she has worked with ONEOK, Inc. initially on contractual issues. Currently, she performs process audits of business units to determine if they have any potential compliance issues relating to environmental, safety, and health matters.
Joe Miller graduated from the University of Missouri School of Law with cum laude honors in 1985, where he served as Managing Editor of the Missouri Law Review. He has spent most of his career as an in-house attorney at The Williams Companies, Williams Communications, and ONEOK. He retired from ONEOK as an associate general counsel in 2013 and is in the process of relocating from Tulsa to Springfield, Missouri. Mr. Miller served as lead counsel in the negotiation of several major telecommunications services agreements, including a $100 million agreement with MCI. In 1994 he participated in the negotiation of one of the first telecommunications agreements between a US company and the Cuban telecommunications authority. He has also worked extensively in the regulatory field, including serving as the chief compliance officer for the four ONEOK Partners interstate gas pipelines.
